Sara: Gouging Eyes

He held his independence close
It was one he had inherit
Even when trouble arose
He clasped it like his merit

Conflicts threatened, morale suppressed
But still he stood his ground
He seemed impossible to budge
But a weak spot was what They found

Gouging eyes, breaking teeth
They attacked the ones he loved

Extremely cruel and relentless
They pulled them away in cuffs

At last he cried, "Enough's enough!
I'll get my precious back!"
And with that, he burnt away
His independence to an ash of black

But he'd been deceived of what he'd retrieve
His fellow was locked away
So he had held his pride as best he could
And waited day by day
